Weatherization training and advocacy.
The NJCAA serves as the liaison between CAA’s/LPA’s and the New Jersey Division of Community Affairs (DCA) and other stakeholders in the weatherization program to facilitate the implementation of the program.
Provide other training.
including HESWAP, CSST, Customer Service, Board Development and Human Resources Training.
Organization and host the NJCAA Annual Conference.
This events serives as an annual networking, training, recognition and and informational event.
Working Group and Committee Meetings.
Throughout the year, NJCAA hosts networking events and forums for addressing issues that concern Members. The NJCAA also sponsors group meetings to facilitate information sharing among Members, development of new ideas, and consensus building as a basis for follow-up advocacy efforts on behalf of Members and low-income stakeholders.
Advocacy.
The NJCAA serves as the principal advocate for CAA’s/LPA’s and Members to public officials, legislators, and State agencies that provide program funding and support.
Referral resource.
The NJCAA provides resources (website, call-center) for Members to share expertise in program and management areas.
Marketing support.
The NJCAA supplies brochures and other marketing material, including print and electronic media support, to Members. |
